The first information to enter is the Company name and number. Online will automatically generate a number, but you can edit it if you want.

For the Company Detail, the most important thing is the Customer Website. This decides where their contacts log in. You don't want a company in the wrong customer website.

Salesperson, Industry, and Origin are more for your records than anything else. They are not critical to the company like Customer Website

The next thing to fill out is the Company Contact Information. You can have as many addresses as you like, but only one primary address for Billing and Shipping, although they don't have to be the same address. The locator tab is pretty cool, you can add anything from an email to a website address.

There is a place to edit Contacts on the quick view tab, although it is easier from the dedicated Contacts tab. There will be more explanation there.
