Welcome to Cyrious Online. We are honored you've chosen our software to expand and improve your online business presence. My name is Julie, and I'm the launch manager here at Cyrious.

You probably have a lot of questions about how to get started and begin reaping the benefits of smoother, faster, and more efficient integration with your customers. In order to help you, I'll send an email every few days (more often initially, then less often) with some guidance and tips. If you don't want to receive them, just let me know and I'll stop sending them.

In this email, I'll cover the basics of setting up your business information. For most users, it takes between 10 and 20 minutes to complete this part of the process.

Setting up your Business

After logging in to your employee website at https://cyrious-YourBusiness.cyriousonline.com, the first thing you will want to do is to set up your business and employees.

**Note**: If you want to use your own web address (domain) you can easily do that. But go ahead and start with this address for the first week. Everything you set up will automatically work with any custom domain you add later.

Note: Your security level (administrator) allows you to do all of this. You can decide which employees have access to set up areas when you create their login.

Under Main Setup, you'll see the section “Set up Your Business”. This will give you the main steps you'll need to get started.

I recommend you follow each of these steps in the order listed, but skip step 5 or 6 if they don't apply to your business. Also, avoid the temptation of spending too much time customizing your colors. You can easily come back and do this at any time.

Other Resources

If you have questions, there are a few key resources you can use for additional help. You may already know about these, but I wanted to point them out in case you didn't.

  • Online WIKI. The Online WIKI (knowledge base) at http://online.cyriouswiki.com has a lot of resources. Sections you might want to look at include getting_started, training, videos, and the home page.
  • Online Chat. The Online Chat is a great resource for quick answers when you are working in Cyrious Online. All employees will have the Ask Cyrious chat prompt at the bottom of their screen. Click it to open a dialog and chat directly with Cyrious Online's support staff.

Again, my congratulations. I know it may seem daunting, but don't be afraid to just jump in. I'll send additional emails over the next few weeks with additional guidance. If you would rather not receive them, please let me know and I'll discontinue them immediately.
