The file upload screen is used whenever a file can be accessed. It allows the user to:

  • Upload files from their local drive (for Windows and Mac users).
  • Copy files from the web using their URL (web address).
  • Access saved files in shared and personal folders.

Uploading Files

Form the Add New tab, you can upload a file or a document.

  • Click the Select Images to Upload to upload supported image type. For other document types, click the Select Documents to Upload.
  • Select the file.
  • To select multiple files at once, hold down the Control (windows users) or Command (Mac users) and click multiple files.
  • Click Open to add the file or files to the Upload List.
  • Click the Upload button to upload the image or images.
Copying Files from the Web

Form the Add New tab, you can copy a file directly from the web.

  • Find the URL (web address) of the image. (You can often find this by right-clicking on the image and choosing an option like “Copy Image URL”.)
  • Paste the URL into the edit box.
  • Click *Add* to add the file to the Upload List.
  • Repeat as often as necessary.
  • Click the Upload button to upload the image or images.

Note: Cyrious Online will copy any URL you give it. Copyrights still apply! You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal authority to use the images you copy over.

Accessing Shared and Personal Folders

Cyrious allows you to copy files from your personal and shared folders any time you are looking for a file. The specific folders available will vary based on

  • your user role (Employee or Contact).
  • your rights.
  • the particular thing you are doing.
