Cyrious Online gives you the power to decide what customization your customer has. This is especially true when it comes to the Online Designer. This document covers some of the main options you will want use to set the customization the customer has to artwork your designed.

One of the first things you will want to set up is whether the customer can customize the artwork at all. This is done in the Artwork Options button on the Artwork Tab for a product.

Clicking this button will open the Artwork Options menu:

These options control options for all artwork for this product. They are:

• User Can Customize Design - This option controls whether the user is given the Customize button during order entry. If this option is not checked, the user can not customize the design.
• User Can Add Shapes - This option determines if the “Shapes” button appears on the toolbar in the Designer.
• User Can Add Stock Images - This option determines if the “Shapes” button appears on the toolbar in the Designer.
• User Can Add Text - This option determines if the “Text” button appears on the toolbar in the Designer.
• User Can Change Text Stretch Mode - This option determines if the user can change between Text Stretch Mode and Text Flow Mode. If this is not checked, the current choice is the only option.
• User Can Upload Custom Images - This option determines if the “Upload” button appears on the toolbar in the Designer.
• User Can View Preview Image - This option determines if the “Preview” button appears on the toolbar in the Designer. The preview is a higher resolution image the customer can use to proof the artwork.
  • Add Company Name Watermark Text Overlay - If this option is set, the Preview will appear with a Watermark of the business name over it.
• User Can View/Download PDF Proof - This option determines if the “Download” button appears on the toolbar in the Designer. The download is the high-resolution PDF.
• Show Quick Text List (if applicable) - If this option is set and any of the text elements in the Artwork have text with “Show Quick Text” enabled, the Quick Text List will appear. Note that all customer placed text automatically has the “Show Quick Text” enabled.
• Bleed - Setting this option increases the canvas height and width by 2 times the bleed size to allow for an extra “bleed margin” around the image.
• Font Options - This button opens the font options, which allows you to restrict the fonts the customer can use in the designer.

Clicking the “Artwork Options” button again will close this menu.

Once you have set your Artwork Options, you can create a new artwork tab.
