Limiting Fonts

Under the Artwork Options on the artwork tab in product setup, you can restrict which fonts are valid for the user to use. This is particularly helpful when corporate requirements on font usage applies. Click on the button to show the options available.

You can restrict the font choices for system or custom fonts individually.

**Note**: In setup mode, artwork is not restricted by the font limitations. If a font that is used that is not valid when in user-mode, the user may leave it as-is or change it to any of the valid fonts. Once done, however, they will not be able to change it back to the original font.

Restricting System Fonts

You may restrict the System Fonts using the following options:

Show All System Fonts - When this option is chosen, all system fonts will be valid options for the user.
Show Select System Fonts - When this option is chosen, you can manually specify which fonts you want to be enabled. Just start typing in the edit box to see the list of fonts.
Show No System Fonts - When this option is selected, no system fonts will be valid options for the user.

Restricting Custom Fonts

You may restrict the use of the Custom Fonts you have uploaded using the following options:

Show All Custom Fonts - When this option is chosen, all custom fonts will be valid options for the user.
Show Select Custom Fonts - When this option is chosen, you can manually specify which custom fonts you want to be enabled. Just start typing in the edit box to see the list of fonts.
Show No Custom Fonts - When this option is selected, no custom fonts will be valid options for the user.

Adding Custom Fonts

Cyrious Online allows you to add your own True Type (TTF) font files. To add a font file, simply upload the TTF file. You will find the “Set up Custom Fonts for Artwork” option at the bottom of your setting page.

Once you have uploaded the font file, you will see the font available in the font choices for all products. Since all artwork is rendered on Cyrious Online's servers, there is no problem with compatibility with the fonts on the users system.

**Warning**: Font Files are intellectual property that must be properly licensed to be used. You are responsible for the proper licensing for all fonts you upload.
